Code	Meaning	Severity
NOT-HEATING	Your Nespresso's thermoblock isn't reaching target brew temperature, usually around 83-86°C for Vertuo and up to 92°C for Original line machines. The machine brews anyway but coffee comes out lukewarm or barely warm. Scale buildup is the most common reason this happens. moderate	moderate
NOT-PUMPING	The pump isn't pulling water from the tank into the heating element. On Original line machines this is usually an air lock stopping the vibration pump from generating suction. On Vertuo machines the centrifugal motor won't spin up if the optical sensor hasn't confirmed a valid capsule barcode first. moderate	moderate
ORANGE-LIGHT	The orange light fires when the machine's internal controller detects something it doesn't like, either a temperature threshold being hit, a sensor reading that's off, or a maintenance state it's waiting on you to clear. Each blink count maps to a specific fault. It's not random. low	low
